Our Approach

We are present-focused, problem-solvers who believe in the effectiveness of brief, goal-oriented therapy. Our practice of Structural and Strategic Therapy employs a systemic approach to foster change. We view problems not as isolated within individuals, but as stemming from ineffective and repetitive behaviors between individuals in their relationships. We find that challenges often arise during life transitions when old methods of problem-solving become counterproductive, perpetuating rather than resolving issues.

At Optimal Outcomes Therapy, our approach begins with assessing ineffective interactional patterns and dynamics within your relationships that sustain problems. We then help to identify and interrupt these maladaptive patterns, and introduce more effective methods of communication and connection to achieve lasting change.
